Cycling holidays - Yorkshire Coast 2027

Cycling at the Yorkshire coast has long been overlooked by established tour operators and we’re not sure why, because it’s a firm favourite of ours. It has to be gravel to experience the coast at its best. All terrain tyres enable us to travel on quiet country lanes, through quiet woodlands, expansive moorlands and along breathtaking stretches of coastal cycle paths.  Circular routes incorporate sections of the Cinder Track, a traffic-free former railway line that affords stunning sea views between Whitby and Scarborough.

From our base near Whitby you'll travel to popular destinations like Whitby Abbey, Scarborough and charming villages like Robin Hood’s Bay. If you have never experience the Yorkshire Coast by bike, join us on this adventure, because two wheels are the best way to explore!

What to Expect: Hosted Cycling Weekend at the YORKSHIRE COAST | From £650 per person (WOMEN ONLY)

• 4 nights midweek accommodation at Aislaby Hall & Gardens near Whitby in shared twin rooms
• 3 days of guided cycling on coastal paths and quiet country lanes of the North York Moors
• Visiting the charming seaside resorts of Scarbrorough, Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay
• Small groups of 6 to 8 to intermediate level cyclists able to cycle 30 - 40 miles
• Breakfasts and evening meals nutritiously planned to fuel you through the day (lunches are not included)
• Downtime with a lovely group of fellow outdoor-lovers 
• Use your departure day to extend your break with a boat trip or a wander around Whitby
• Optional yoga to aid muscle recovery (bring a mat)
• Optional sauna with Whitby Wellbeing (£15 pp payable separately)
• Bring your gravel, hybrid or ebike or ask us about hiring one

The date for 2027 is:

26th - 30th July, midweek £650 - (Fri - Mon). Secure your place for you and your group with £150 deposit per person.

Single rooms are available on a first come first served basis at a suppliment of £175.

For frequently asked questions please visit our blog. It is a condition of the trip that you able to cycle 30 miles.  

We try to keep our deposits low and usually around 20% of the total holiday cost. This is non-refundable, except in cases of cancellation or major change by Seafern Adventures. If the trip is not able to go ahead in 2027 due to reasons outside of our control, we will move the trip forward by one year to the same dates or as close as possible.
