Couples Holidays

Holidays with Couples and Friends

IF YOUR IDEAL HOLIDAY IS AS A COUPLE OR WITH FRIENDS READ ON...
Sea Fern is a 3 bedroomed cottage, so it might suprise you to know that we get a lot of couples staying with us.  We attribute this to the fact that we are essentailly a 1 bedroomed bungalow with 2 bedrooms and an additional bathroom in the attic, so it doesn't feel too big if you intend to just use the ground floor.  Our flexible layout is also ideal if you want to invite another couple or family members to join you for a few days or for the duration of your stay.
We all love going on holiday, but did you know men and women often have different opinions about what their perfect holiday is. According to research conducted by a leading holiday company, women are more likely to want to find time to read, shop, visit the theatre and experience fine dining and men are more likely to want to visit a bar, go hiking and seak out an adventure activity. Fortunately, most couples are happy to compromise, but for those who would like a day or two doing something independently we're to be on a arriva bus route making it possible to have a day to do your own thing.

Send us an enquiry and let us know what sort of activities you would like to include during your holiday and we will put you in touch with local providers.  To give you some inspiration we've added some ideas to get you started...

Robin Hood's Bay is not just a picturesque old fishing village on the Heritage Coast of the North York Moors. It is a fantastic place for adults and children alike with a beautiful family and dog friendly sandy beach.  While away your time simply walking along the beach or try a little beach combing and searching for ancient fossils.  Wandering through the narrow, twisting cobbled streets and alleyways of Bay, you can easily imagine the sailors, fishermen and smugglers that walked these streets hundreds of years ago. Today it is a vibrant village, with a wide range of cafes, pubs, restaurants, small shops and places to explore, as well as many stunning coastal and country walks, cycle-paths and bridleways right on the doorstep.
