PLANNING A CYCLING HOLIDAY FOR YOUR GROUP?

Maybe you’ve just got into road cycling and perhaps you have enjoyed the odd sportive? Regardless of whether you’ve been cycling for 2 months or 20 years if you’ve got a group of cycling buddies you’re probably planning to go on a cycling holiday together in 2026.

Where will you go? One option is to follow the crowd; hop on a plane and head for the Cap De Formentor in Majorca and you would not be disappointed. It’s a popular destination for a reason, great climbs, beautiful scenery and historic places of interest, but for a short break we think you can’t go wrong by looking closer to home. How about Yorkshire?

The Tour de Yorkshire has put road cycling in Yorkshire on the map and if professional cyclists give the area high praise, claiming that the scenery and the people are “simply incredible” it’s a cycling destination to be added to your bucket list. 

You can plan the routes yourself on Komoot or Strava and book the accommodation online.  However, it’s quite a big responsibility and If you are planning to cycle for 3 days, it’s likely to take 3 days to plan it properly.  Alternatively, come stay with us, because we’ve done all the work so you don’t have to!

The Accommodation:

Luxurious accommodation in peaceful settings enables our guests to enjoy a day exploring and retreat back to the same comfortable bed each night.

The routes:

Three days of cycling from our central base enables us to thoroughly explore the area. Each of the three 30 – 40 miles routes are carefully planned to incorporate historic places of interest, stunning views, pretty Yorkshire villages and the best café stops.

The food:

We know at the end of a long day cycling you don’t want to have to find a restaurant or prepare a meal, so breakfast and homemade evening meals are provided.

If you haven't found your tribe yet and you're not part of a cycling group.  Come solo, it's only a short break and it's a great way to make new friends.
