Wouldn't it be great to see cycling clothing for women designed by women, maybe then it might be a bit more stylish, a bit more coordinated, a bit more flattering and a bit less boring.
Lusso: handcrafted in Manchester, England, Lusso offers a range of cycling apparel, including good quality jerseys and if you prefer plain colour then this is the place to go. We’d love to see some feminine funky florals in their future ranges. They’ve adopted the cute bee logo that is synonymous with Manchester – we love this.
Hackney GT: based in London, has a unique style that’s a bit more mountain bike than road, but we love their ‘One Life’ cycle jersey! ‘Made in England’ is proudly printed on the back.
Velobici: is an English brand focusing on high-quality, road-wear cycling apparel. Their classic quality jackets remind me of the Italian brand Castelli. I must get myself one for next winter!
Impsport: specializes in customized cycling apparel, as well as performance clothing for athletes, all made in England with minimum order quantities as low as 5. Great for creating club jerseys.
Endura: founded and based in Scotland, Endura is a pretty well know make that you’re likely to find available in your local bike shop. Their designs are fairly unimaginative, but the quality is good the longer length more comfortable to wear.
