Whitby Boxing Day Dip 2023

Are brave enough to run into the North Sea with 230 other nutters on Boxing Day?    

It has become a tradition in the seaside town of Whitby to enjoy a rather refreshing dip in the North Sea on Boxing Day morning. 

This fun and frantic and quite frankly freezing event has been enjoyed over the last 48 years, originally seeing numbers soar from a handful of brave locals to around 230 eager individuals travelling from far and wide.

It attracts quite a crowd and has become a Yorkshire Boxing Day tradition, bringing family and friends together on Boxing Day morning to enjoy the great outdoors together.
